August 2025 Summer Service Mission to Vietnam

After six months of fundraising and planning, in August 2025, we traveled to Trường Trung Học Cơ Sở Thị Trấn Châu Thành, ấp An Thạnh, Xã Phú Túc, Tỉnh Vĩnh Long to officially hand off the Green Library, a roof project to support the school of 428 students that lacked shaded, usable space for learning, reading, and physical activities. At the event, we also donated hundreds of books and provided two computers for the library. Sharing fun activities with the students showed us firsthand how the new sheltered space will enrich their learning and well-being for years to come. We hope to continue this warm relationship with the school by launching a virtual English tutoring program there. We felt humbled as we left with gifts of homegrown grapefruits and local treats, a gesture of kindness that reflected the spirit of the community.
